01 / DEADSTOCK FABRIC

Discarded as waste.
Reclaimed with purpose.

The deadstock fabric STOTE reclaims has been rejected because of colour differences, quantity miscalculations or localised quality defects. It is fabric waste. We put the usable material to work in hotel slippers.

About these images & footage+

Fabric, cutting and sewing footage by Ron Lach / Pexels illustrates the material journey. It is stock footage, not a record of STOTE's factory, the exact slipper construction or the fabric used by a hotel. The finished slippers in chapter 04 are STOTE product photography. The homepage styling image is an AI-staged concept. Final hotel specifications may vary.

Care behind the scenes.
Comfort, just as it should be.

We believe thoughtful material choices should fit naturally into a good product. Price, guest experience and commercial viability should all stand up to the same expectations. That is how change becomes part of everyday life.

A LITTLE MORE TO KNOW

What kind of fabric does STOTE reclaim?+

STOTE reclaims deadstock fabric discarded as waste because of colour differences, quantity miscalculations or localised quality defects. We give the usable material a new purpose in hotel slippers. The waste lies in the fabric being rejected from its original order, even though parts of it can still be put to use.

Is every part made from deadstock fabric?+

Deadstock describes the fabric source; it does not mean every component is made from deadstock. The final fabric, padding, sole, packaging and material proportions depend on the specification selected by the hotel.

Can I see the environmental impact?+

The figure summarises estimated CO₂e avoided through the choice of reclaimed-fabric slippers. This prototype currently shows an illustrative estimate; the final partnership result will use confirmed data and methodology.
